News dropped today that Bill Cosby will be sentenced this week for 3 counts of aggravated indecent assault. Cosby faces as much as 10 years behind bars, and as little as probation. Countless women have come forward accusing the ‘Cosby Show’ actor of drugging and sexually assaulting them, and many have testified in court. While this news is extremely disappointing to the black community who looked to Cosby as a father figure, we’ve decided to look at the bright side. Despite the allegations that Cosby is facing, we can at least acknowledge those talented individuals that took Cosby’s blessing and ran with it to become successful in their own right. So here are 10 celebrities who may owe the start of their careers to Cosby but managed to be successful long-term all on their own!
