Toy And Coat Drive Planned For November. The Detroit Lions will be collecting toys and winter coats for the needy in two separate drives throughout November.

The toy drive, which will collect new unwrapped toys to benefit Toys for Tots and the U.S. Marine Corps, will take place on Nov. 22 before the Lions game against the Cleavland Browns.

The coat drive, which will collect new or gently used coats and blankets to benefit the Salvation Army will take place on Thanksgiving day when the Lions face the Green Bay Packers.
