Guilleermo(Willie)Hernandez, the 1984 World Series MVP, American League MVP and AL Cy Young Award winner, will toss the ceremonial first pitch for the Detroit Tigers.
Mary Wilson, Grammy Award nominated singer and the original members of the Supremes, will sing the national anthem.
Detroit Traffic Opening Day Tips
Early arrival is suggested as there will be several pregame ceremonies and activities to welcome guests! Several streets are around the park will be closed including: Brush, Montcalm, Witherall, and Adams.
Parking prices near the park will range from $10-25. You also can pre-book a space near Comerica Park ahead of time using the ParkWhizz app, that usually comes with a discount.
