A referee in New Jersey who has been accused of racism in the past, made a high school wrestler cut his dreadlocks off before competing in a match.

Referee, Alan Maloney gave high school wrestler, Andrew Johnson the option to either cut his dreadlocks or forfeit the match. Normally, players with long hair wear special garments to cover their hair. However, Andrew wasn’t aloud to wear the hair cover.

Andrew went on to win the match, but people are not pleased with how the young teen was treated. Many are asking that Maloney be fired for this behavior.
