Downtown Detroit has a new roller skating rink installation. Rainbow City Roller Rink, an inflatable wonderland-turned -roller skating rink is now downtown Detroit, Library  Street Collective.

The address is 1001 Woodward Avenue overlooking Campus Martius, the rink, designed by artist due FriendsWithYou, is now open November 30-January 27, 2019.

Skating is free courtesy of Bedrock and the Quicken Loans Community Fund.

The roller rink will be open to the public 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. skates and locker rental free. You can bring your own skates or roller blades.

Admittance is on a first-come -first serve basis.
