It’s official cannabis will be legal for adults in Michigan who are 21 & over starting December 6th
The legalization of Marijuana was a big bill on the 2018 Michigan Midterm ballot. Now that the bill is passed, what does this mean? Well here some quick tips on what this new bill will mean on December 6th:
- Adults 21 and over can grow up to 12 plants at their home for personal use. Michigan is currently working on marijuana being commercially available for sale.
- Michigan still will have a zero-tolerance drugged driving policy. This means any amount of THC found in the blood stream while driving could result in criminal charges as would a drunk driving case.
- Smokers are allowed to smoke in the privacy of their own homes. However, smoking in public could cost you a $100 fine.
