Reality star Omarosa is a “ride or die” supporter of Donald Trump. Having famously played the “villain” on The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice, Omarosa and Trump have maintained their friendship for over a decade.
Omarosa is back to defending Trump again, this time she’s less than empathetic towards the African American protestors that have been physically and verbally assaulted while attending Trump rallies.
During an interview with MSNBC, host Chris Matthews asked her to weight in on the violent attacks.
“You have a right to get into a closed, private event, and you get what’s coming to you” she said. “I do not condone violence, but if you go into an environment where you’re interrupting 13, 14 times, you do expect a hug or kumbaya?”
She also added that Trump can’t be held responsible for what his legions of supporters do, even though the presidential candidate seems to condone the racist behavior.
“He’s a New Yorker, what do you want him to say?… He’s not gonna be pushed around, Chris.”
The ordained Baptist minister and educator also mentioned that the media seems to be biased in it’s lack of coverage of violence at Democrat rallies. Daily Mail reporter Francesca Chambers chimed in and said there hasn’t been any violence at any Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders events.
“Okay, thank you, Francesca, for that insight” replied Omarosa condescendingly.
Matthews said, “No, I think it’s called reporting.”
