By now, just about everyone knows that Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) 2016 defensive back LaVert Hill and 2017 wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones are a force to be reckoned with on the field and plenty of college coaches have already take notice and offered the talent duo.
As of right now, Hill holds offers from Illinois, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Miami and Temple, while Peoples-Jones holds offers from Ohio State, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Miami.
Well after visiting the Penn State campus with some of their teammates and coaches on Sunday afternoon, the talented duo received another set of offers, this time from the Penn State Nittany Lions.

I don’t know about you but I am not even surprised that Penn State offered them both. When it comes to Peoples-Jones, you’re talking about a young receiver with the length, size and explosive leaping ability that college coaches covet. If that’s enough, he is also has the speed, hands, and great play-making skills to make the big plays in the end-zone or in the open field.
The same goes for Hill, at 5-foot-8, his is an outstanding cover man with great instincts and hip fluidity. He certainly has great speed seeing that he reportedly ran a 4.4 in the 40 yard dash at Miami’s football camp and 4.3 in the 40 yard dash at North Carolina’s camp. On top of all of that, he also has good patience and good technique, plus he has great footwork and an amazing feel for what is coming at him, making it hard for any quarterback who throws his way and any wide receiver who tries to get open and make a play.
At this point, I’m really shocked that Michigan and Michigan State haven’t offered either of the two, I know they are both reportedly receiving interest from Michigan State and Michigan but as of right now that’s all about all their getting from them. I don’t know about you all but I’m a little confused by that and I’m not the only one.
I suppose time will tell but I will be really shocked if Michigan and Michigan State don’t extend offers out to Hill and Peoples-Jones soon. In the meantime, I have no doubt that both will both continue to gain more offers from the country’s top college football programs, so don’t be surprised if you hear their names again very soon.
