Congressman Dan Kildee to Speak at 2014 Netroots Nation Conference


DETROIT – Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) will speak at the Netroots Nation conference on Friday, July 18, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. ET in Detroit.

Held annually, the Netroots Nation conference is one of the largest conferences about progressive issues in the U.S. This year’s conference will be held from July 17th – 20th at Cobo Hall in Detroit and will feature more than 120 panels, training sessions and speeches.

On Friday afternoon, Congressman Kildee will give remarks on a panel entitled, “A Fresh Perspective: Lessons from a Crazy Congress.” During his remarks, he will discuss his experiences in Congress as a freshman Member of Congress and his efforts to champion the priorities of working families in the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives. The panel will be moderated by Sabrina Siddiqui, a political reporter for The Huffington Post.
