With a passion for art and  entrepreneurship, business partners Trumaine White (right) and Timothy pAULE (left) founded “The Academy of Design, LLC (TAD)” in 2012. Both men worked in the visual art industry for many years before cementing this partnership. Together they’ve established a full service, integrated marketing and digital/print design firm, located in downtown Detroit. Their mission is to the help brands flourish by establishing a strong brand image. With a staff of over five creative professionals, they are able to bring a clear and creative focus to their clients’ projects. Trumaine and Timothy share a mantra in business that has proven to be both positive and progressive, “No days off.” These professionals translate “no days off” to mean constant hard work toward recognizing their dreams.

A few years ago, I was lucky enough to work with Timothy pAULE on my first professional photo shoot for 1059 KISS! So I was a bit nervous getting ready for this shoot!! Here’s why, I really didn’t know what to do with myself. How do I pose? What’s my facial expression? Do I need to have motivation like an actor? What do I do with my hands? So many questions!!!! Fortunately for me, my photographer was  GREAT and extremely  passionate about his art, gave the right direction to ease my nerves and the end result….Perfection! Wouldn’t you agree??

Here’s one of my photo’s (right) from our  2011 shoot!
