The Salvation Army is hosting a job fair to fill positions at its thrift stores and warehouses.
The job fair will take place on Tuesday, July 17th from 9am to 4pm and on Wednesday, July 18th from 9am to 12pm at the Southeastern Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center on 1627 West Fort Street in Detroit.
The company is looking to fill a wide variety of positions from management to truck drivers to cashiers at its 33 Salvation Army Thrift Stores and three warehouses. Individuals interested in retail management positions must have two-five years of supervisory experience to qualify, while truck driving candidates need a valid chauffeur’s licenses and DOT card to apply.
The company will be conducting on-site interviews and hiring for the full and part-time positions available at the ARC’s 33 thrift stores and 3 warehouses in Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Available positions include dock workers, merchandise processors, cashiers and sales clerks, truck drivers and store managers.
