Join Sheriff Benny N. Napoleon and TRIAD for an afternoon of safety information, demonstrations, bingo, prizes, food, entertainment and fun! The mission of the Wayne County Sheriff Youth & Senior Education Fund (WCYSEF), headed by Sheriff Napoleon, is to assist area youth and seniors by providing them with a range of educational and safety tools to enhance their quality of life. Sheriff Benny Napoleon doesn’t want any of our youth or seniors to fall victim to crime and health challenges so he’s arming them with what they need to know to stay safe and feel secure.

“I grew up in this area and care about our kids and seniors. This event is designed to touch just about every area of their lives so they can live life to the fullest,” said Sheriff Benny N. Napoleon.

“My hope is that this event serves as a constant reminder that safety and awareness is a way of life.”

Representatives from TRIAD, DPD, DFD, DEA, ATF, FBI, WCPO, the Michigan Attorney General’s Office, City of Detroit, County Executive Robert Ficano’s Office and WC Homeland Security will join Sheriff Napoleon in presenting valuable information. Event activities are made possible thanks to the generous donations of dozens of local and national sponsors. We will have demonstration stations, games for kids, music and food provided by area businesses. We invite the media to come out and cover what will become the largest and best youth and senior safety fair benefitting our most vulnerable citizens.
