“Saving Lives/Back to School Motorcycle Rally” and Ringo Ride promoting driver and rider safety awareness and accident prevention.

The police escorted ride will start at Steve’s Soul Food (1440 Franklin St, Detroit) at 10 a.m., with kickstands up promptly at 11:15 a.m., andarrive at Ultimate Soccer Arenas (867 South Blvd, Pontiac, MI) around noon for the rally, whichruns from noon-6pm.

The rally, sponsored by Compuware, will feature extreme sports celebrity Jason Britton and Team No Limit, who will perform three motorcycle stunt shows – and also includes demonstrations by local stunt riders, live music, and a variety of food, motorcycle and clothing vendors.

This year The Crosshairs Foundation will also be handing out 1000 backpacks full of school supplies for children in the Detroit Metro area.

The backpacks will have supplies for K – 8th grade students, available on a first come, first serve basis.

The backpacks are free of charge.

This family friendly event costs only $5 per person, with children 13 and under admitted free.
