I encourage each and every one of you to take advantage of this day by going out and getting tested.

Not only should you get tested today, but I also urge you to make HIV awareness a habit. Don’t only get tested today because it’s National HIV Testing Day, do it every couple of months and be sure to where protection each and every time you are sexually active.

Also, if you feel awkward going to get tested, bring your partner along to not only get tested as well but it’s also a great way to feel more comfortable. If for whatever reason your partner can’t come, bring a friend, hey the more people you bring along, the better.

Also, remember to follow these guidelines to safe sex:

4. Get Tested.

3. Wear a condom.

2. Remain in a monogamous relationship.

1. Abstinence.
