An estate sale at the former home of Joseph L. Hudson, President of the J.L. Hudson Company is to take place the weekend of April 8 in Detroit’s Boston Edison Historic District.
The 10,000 square foot mansion, constructed at the turn of the century was the sight for the 1916 wedding of Edsel B. Ford that was attended by Thomas A. Edison and his wife.
All items, which include antiques dating back to the 1860’s will be sold as-is with no refunds. Visitors will be charged a $5.00 cover fee to enter the estate.
Proceeds raised by the sale will go to benefit Sisters Home Visitors of Mary.
The sale will begin Friday April 8 at 9:00 a.m. and will end Sunday April 10 at 5:00 p.m.
All major credit cards will be accepted for purchases over $35.00.
The Hudson Mansion is located at 121 East Boston Blvd . in Detroit
