It seems Beyoncés smash song “Irreplaceable” is, well, irreplaceable to the man who wrote it.

And that’s none other than RnB crooner Ne-Yo!

The ‘Closer’ singer admits he really regrets giving the pop diva the catchy tune, which subsequently went on to be a HUGE hit for Queen Bey!

In an interview with Choice FM, he moaned,

“One song that I gave away and didn’t want to is Beyoncé’s ‘Irreplaceable’. I honestly wrote that song for myself.”

But, while he may still be a tad bitter about it, he does reckon it was probably better suited to the bootylicious babe after all.

“A man singing it comes across a little bit misogynistic,” he added. “A little bit mean.”

Meanwhile, we wonder if Ne-Yo’s regretting his recent mouthing-off to reality TV princess Snooki yet…

The hitmaker took to his Twitter page to slam the ‘Jersey Shore’ star for appearing on the front cover of Rolling Stone magazine this month.

He ranted to fans, “Wow. Snooki is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Really? I quit. (Just kidding, but almost serious….).”

And never one to take criticism lying down, the pint-sized brunette was quick to snap back, writing,

“Neyo’s mad that I got the cover of rolling stone?…you lost a loyal fan.”
