New York– A Queens New York man accused of throwing a coma inducing punch at a woman last month during a parking space dispute is saying that he responded out of “reflex” that night.
“I wish I just let her hit me,” a remorseful Oscar Fuller told reporters, “It was out of reflex, just a reaction that went the wrong way”. The 4-foot-11, 100-pound victim, Lana Rosas, had part of her skull removed at Bellevue Hospital to reduce brain swelling. Fuller was arrested on felony assault charges Tuesday, and was later released Saturday after posting $100,000 bail.
“I hope for her recovery to happen soon,” he said. “I’m not running. I’m not hiding. I point the finger at myself.”
