University Of Connecticut Revokes Acceptance Of 13-Year-Old Girl

BRONX — A 13-year-old Bronx prodigy was accepted to the University of Connecticut, however the university later called her father to rescind the offer, stating she is not academically ready.

Batin Ashante said his daughter, Autum, is devastated by the sudden news. The NY Daily News and a host of news agencies reported about Autum’s acceptance at the time, making her a blogosphere sensation.

Her father says UConn’s decision is “B.S..”

LANCASTER, PA-McCaskey East High School in Lancaser, Pennslyvania is experimenting with having separate homerooms for African American Students in order to boost African American academic performance. Lancaster Online reports:
