Beyonce may not know it, but her song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” is now the tagline for a new public awareness campaign for female condoms.

Not the ones that flopped in the early 90s, but a new and improved ringed version recently approved by the Food & Drug Administration.

“It’s softer, it’s more affordable, it’s something women feel more comfortable using,” an official said.

The hope is that once women hear about the improved device they’ll give it a second chance — or maybe even a first.

SHOCK jock Howard Stern recently went in on Oscar-nominee Gabourey Sidibe.

“There’s the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen,” Stern said on his Sirius satellite show on Monday. “She is enormous. Everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business and she’s never going to be in another movie.

“She should have gotten the Best Actress award because she’s never going to have another shot. What movie is she gonna be in?”

Stern and co-host Robin Quivers went on to discuss the impossibility of Gabby finding any work in Hollywood after “Precious.”

“And Oprah’s lying and saying you’re going to have a brilliant career,” said Robin.

“Oprah’s another liar, a filthy liar,” said Stern. “She’s telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she’s going to have a career.”

Sandra Rose is reporting that Amber Rose is making enemies left and right with club promoters across the country.

Word is that Kanye West’s girlfriend is commanding $5,000 a pop to make appearances at nightclubs.

While we admit that she’s a trendsetting fashionista with a body to die for, we’re not sure she’s worth that much. At least not to just show her face. Is she, at the very least, retreating back to her stripper days and putting on a show? If not, why would anyone, but Kanye, pay her $5,000?

However, promoters are onto her gimmicks which usually begin after she secures a down payment. They say, with deposit in hand, she often jacks her rates higher or demands extra plane tickets to fly in her friends. A promoter said the last time Amber was in town, she agreed to make an appearance at his Doraville nightclub but when Amber pulled up outside the club at the appointed hour, she refused to go inside until the promoter paid her more loot.

Another local promoter said Amber was paid a deposit to appear at an Atlanta nightclub this past weekend. But instead of showing up as contractually agreed, she flew to LA to attend an Oscar after party.

Last night, when Amber showed up at another paid gig, the model promptly threw a fit when the promoter told her she wasn’t getting the rest of her money since she didn’t show up for the previous night’s gig. Witnesses said Amber had 3 big bodyguards with her when she approached the promoter screaming, “Where’s my money?” But the promoter stood firm, saying that she owed him an hour and if she didn’t stay for the full hour, she wouldn’t get paid.

We guess Kanye’s ego got too big for him to carry alone, and his girlfriend is picking up the slack.

Gabourey Sidibe didn’t get to take Justin Timberlake to the Oscars, but she did enjoy a red carpet encounter with another of her Hollywood crushes, Gerard Butler.

Gabby told Access Hollywood that she met Gerard for the first time Saturday night but botched things up when she stepped on his foot. The “Precious” star got a second chance on Sunday when she saw him on the red carpet.

“He’s kinda sexy,” Gabby told Billy Bush. “I’d hit that.”

Then Gerard entered the frame and Billy asked Gabby to repeat herself.

“I kinda said, ‘I’d hit that.’ I’m not ashamed,” she said as Gerard looked on, pleasantly surprised. “I’d hit that. I’m sorry.”

“I’m here, I’m available,” Gerard said. “Let’s go!”

“Let’s grab a bottle of champagne and see where the night goes,” said Gabby.

Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Stephen A. Smith’s column reports NBA Star Alan Iverson is battling serious alcohol and gambling problems. Smith predicts “Iverson will either drink himself into oblivion or gamble his life away.”

Last year, the Detroit News shed light on Iverson’s alleged addictions, reporting Iverson was banned from several area casinos. When questioned, however, the casinos said no such ban existed.

Iverson has issued a statement via Twitter regarding the allegations:

“To my fans: You all know that my life isn’t perfect. I am going through some very tough times right now, like I am sure that we all do from time to time. However, I will stand tall like always with “rhino” thick skin. Even though I have become used to hearing people say things about me that aren’t true, it still hurts. I encourage you to continue your ongoing support and I want you to trust that this is another obstacle in my life that, with God’s help I will overcome. God Bless You All.”

Last week, Iverson’s wife filed for divorce, and his daughter is seriously sick with an illness doctor’s haven’t been able to diagnose yet. His career has been rocky for the past two years, and is sort of in limbo for now. Definitely a tough time for A.I. Hopefully, he can pull it together.

Alicia Keys and Beyonce’s music video for their single “Put It in a Love Song” has gotten pushed back. After it was rumored that it’d be making its debut Monday, March 8, the video is said to come next week.

But Alicia Keys’ France fan site claims the singer’s French label confirmed it will be unveiled in mid April. In the meantime, the video is still in the editing room.
