Well,  we can’t say that no one saw this coming eventually. Lil Scrappy faced a judge in an Atlanta courtroom today, and must have known that the court mandated urine test that he submitted to officials was going to come back positive for marijuana.  And apparently, it did.

As we previously reported, Scrappy got into some trouble for submitting a cold urine specimen a few months ago, and then he refused to take a make up urinalysis on the spot, which was a probation violation and sent The Prince Of the South to jail for a few days.

So, TMZ has learned through Scrappy’s attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis, that the rapper has acknowledged that he has an addiction to weed and  is headed to rehab to treat his addiction to the icky stuff sometime before his next court appearance, which is scheduled in June.

Look, let’s be clear, rehab is a whole lot better than jail for your mind, body and soul! So we wish him the best of luck, and hopefully this bit of  time away from the chaos of life, will be beneficial to him in more ways than one. We’re pulling for you Scrap. It takes a big man to get help for his “Thizz-Nay-Ee”! Real Talk!

The clip often begins (depending on who is spinning it) with Biggie Smalls chanting “Where Brooklyn at? Where Brooklyn at?” before going into the now famous lines from “Come On” where he runs down his personal arsenal:  ”I got seven Mack Elevens, about got eight 38s, nine 9s, ten mack 10s, the sh*ts never end/you can’t touch my riches/ even if you had MC Hammer and them .357 b*tches…”

What many listeners don’t know is where the session was recorded and who else was actually there. The freestyle took place during a Budweiser Superfest show at Madison Square Garden in 1993. The Notorious B.I.G. is joined on the track by not just Tupac, but by Big Daddy Kane, Scoob Lover and Shyheim The Rugged Child.  In fact, Biggie and Tupac were guests of Kane at HIS show.

Surprisingly, he was very open with explaining how his goal is to break away from the gospel arena and wants to focus on HIS LIFE and HIS PASSION which is MUSIC that explores an unusual blend of futuristic R&B and nu-pop trap music.

Check out a buzz record entitled FLIGHT, which is yet to be confirmed if it will premiere on his album, ‘Never Coming Back’. How the family and church feel about his conquest to breakaway is all discussed in the interview as well as his current relationship with his son’s mother.
