Detroit’s Diva Nicci Gilbert Explains How She Plans To Deal With Season 2 Drama From The “R&B Divas!”

The “R&B Divas” are back! Anybody else excited?

Well, let me just say my Wednesday nights have not been the same without my girls.

It was good to hear that Keke Wyatt, Monifah, Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, and Syleena Johnson are all back for another season of TV One’s hit reality show and they’ve brought some new ladies with them — Latocha Scott and Angie Stone. Judging from the trailer released earlier this month, I can already see it’s gonna be one drama-filled season!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having a Diva talk with Detroit’s own Nicci Gilbert. She cleared up the rumors of her getting fired from the show, what’s really happening with Brownstone and how she plans to handle the drama from the ladies this season. Nicci discussed her new show “Diva’s & Cocktails”, her charitable passions and the love she has for Detroit!

HUH? Amanda Bynes Loves Drake’s ‘Far Apart Eyes’

There’s so much to be said about the rise and fall of child stars. Nickelodeon kid Amanda Bynes is no exception. The charming teeny bopper who warmed us with her sense of humor on show “All That” and films “What A Girl Wants” and “Hairspray” has forever tarnished her image, in recent weeks.

She made headlines, weeks ago, after tweeting a photo of herself with pierced cheeks, tangled weave and clown-like makeup. She recently tweeted rapper Drake in the hopes that he would murder her vagina. And, if you thought her cooky antics like aimless wandering around Times Square with a blunt was over, you are sadly mistaken.

Amanda took to the Twitterverse to once again express her infatuation for Drizzy, who has yet to respond to any of her passes. She tweeted:

We’re quite confused, was she complimenting or insulting Drake by mentioning his far apart eyes? Her followers responded with their own jokes of which she retweeted.

As odd as Amanda’s behavior is, we can’t help but laugh with her (not at her–she needs help).

According to Bossip, Beyonce’s dad who recently finalized his divorce from Tina has been spotted out and about in Houston with his lady love at an upscale restaurant and music lounge called Eddie V’s. The alleged bride-to-be is reportedly in her early 40′s, and met about two years ago before dating and are expected to wed soon.

Wonder what Beyonce and the rest of the Knowles clan has to say about this?

Mathew’s marriage fell apart when he fathered a child out of wedlock with baby mama Alexsandra Wright.

Sheree Whitfield Unhappy With ‘Fix My Life’ Portrayal

Sheree Whitfield is not happy with the way she was portrayed on “Iyanla: Fix My Life,”where she was scolded by her ex-husband and the show’s host Iyanla Vanzant.

In the episode, Vanzant questioned Sheree’s decision to build her extravagant home, “Chateau Sheree,” The house has yet to be completed and Whitfield who has made headlines for issues with her finances,insisted that her upgraded residence was being built with her children in mind.

Iyanla was not buying it and went in:

“That ain’t about your kids,” Vanzant told Whitfield on the show. “That’s about you.”

Sheree complained about feeling attacked.

“I felt like I was being attacked,” Whitfield told Vanzant on the show. “It was very hurtful … I didn’t feel like questions about whether or not my finances were up to par had anything to do with me as a parent or being a good person.”

She then reinforced how she was feeling by retweeting a tweet from a viewer.

“Last week DMX was a deadbeat Dad. This week it’s ok to be a absentee if you don’t like the mother,” Whitfield re-tweeted. “Ratings trump Logic #IylanlaFixMyLife.”

Porsha Stewart Divorce Drama: Still Living With Kordell

“RHOA”star Porsha Stewart appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohen, and finally opened up about her divorce from Kordell Stewart.

When asked by Cohen about the moment she found out Kordell wanting to split up, she said she found out via Twitter.

Porsha revealed that her sister called her a number of times the morning the news broke, but she was asleep at the time. When she returned her sister’s phone calls, she then went on Twitter and saw that Kordell was serving her with divorce papers.

“I thought, ‘this is just a crazy joke!’” Porsha said.

Porsha thought it was a prank, as Kordell was in the next room when she saw the divorce details.

“I asked my husband … had he filed, and just a long story short, I felt very disappointed and let down,” she told Andy. “When I got married, I meant it for life. … I was heartbroken.”

Fellow WWHL guest Vivica A. Fox chimed in and asked her if she ever found out the reason for the sudden filing, Porsha dodged that question, but answered that she had to confirm with her attorney that it was really happening.

“Long story short, I was very disappointed and let down. When I got married, I meant it for life. I always said I’d never get a divorce unless he cheated on me or something like that,” says Stewart, who was married to the former quarterback for two years. “I was heartbroken. Like I am still right now. I’m a brave woman and I know I’m living this out in front of the world because of the way it was done.”

But it gets better, Porsha revealed she and her ex are still living under the same roof:

“It’s a difficult, difficult situation right now. It’s something I did not want at all,” adding that though the former couple are roommates, she stopped performing her wifely duties after the divorce papers were filed. “I didn’t say we speak and I didn’t say I’m cookin’. Ain’t no eggs and bacon and ham hocks no mo’.”

I’m hoping this plays out on next season of ‘RHOA” as Porsha will be returning to the show. I do feel sorry for her, as she comes across as so young and inexperienced.

Whoopi Goldberg is not one to bite her tongue, and it’s one of the reasons we love her. During a party for Vanity Fair earlier in the week, ‘The View’ co-host was asked who she thought should replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar on the show.

In typical Whoopi fashion, she bluntly responded with:

“Let me tell you this about ‘The View:’ I take a paycheck every other week,” she said. “That’s all I do. I could give a sh*t what comes. I do my job – I have a contract. That’s where I stand. I don’t give a f*ck.”

Hasselbeck and Behar recently announced they were leaving the show, and it is not yet known who will replace them.
