Surprisingly, he was very open with explaining how his goal is to break away from the gospel arena and wants to focus on HIS LIFE and HIS PASSION which is MUSIC that explores an unusual blend of futuristic R&B and nu-pop trap music.

INKSTER, Mich. (WJBK) -Authorities responding to reports of a garage fire in Inkster discovered the bodies of a man and woman in what police say is a possible murder-suicide.

Police say the bodies were found at a home on Helen near Cherry Hill and Inkster after crews responded late Monday night.

Police say they broke down a door at the home after seeing blood inside and found the body of a woman. After flames were extinguished in the garage area of the home, police say they found the body of a man. The medical examiner’s office was on the scene.

“I lived next to them for 10 years and never had no problem with them,” a neighbor told FOX 2. “She was a God-loving woman and she was a great man. I just don’t understand what was going on.”

Names of those involved weren’t immediately released.

Indera’s Report: Michigan Couple to Challenge Gay Marriage Ban

Raulie Wayne Casteel, 43, who faces seven counts including terrorism, was scheduled to appear before Judge Carol Sue Reader on Monday afternoon, but that appearance was canceled when he decided to waive a preliminary exam and send his case straight to Circuit Court for trial.

No new court dates were immediately set.

Casteel’s attorney Charles Groh said the waiver “is all part of what’s going on.” He declined to elaborate, but did mention that the criminal responsibility exams ordered by both Oakland and Livingston county judges in February are still pending.

When asked how Casteel is doing in jail, Groh replied: “Like anyone who has been incarcerated for months. He’s surviving.”

Assistant Attorney General Gregory Townsend, who is prosecuting the case on behalf of the Michigan attorney general’s office, declined to comment.

Casteel is charged in Livingston and Oakland counties in connection with 24 shootings, three of which occurred on I-96 in Livingston County and the rest along trunk lines and side streets in Oakland, Ingham and Shiawassee counties. The shootings took place from Oct. 16-18 and Oct. 27. One person was injured.

Police allege Casteel randomly fired a handgun from his vehicle at motorists along the I-96 corridor.

Casteel has been found competent to stand trial. However, his attorney Douglas Mullkoff has said the forensic psychological exam revealed that Casteel suffers from delusional disorder.

In Livingston County, Casteel also is charged with assault with intent to murder, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, discharging a weapon from a vehicle and multiple counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony for shooting at motorists along the I-96 corridor. He faces up to life in prison.

In Oakland County, Casteel faces 60 counts including assault with intent to murder and several felony weapons charges. He returns to Oakland County Circuit Court on April 4 for a pretrial hearing.

This is a Christmas album for lovers, the spark to warmth on cold nights and ignites the feelings of the season. Sure, the standards are here, “The Christmas Song”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “We Three Kings”, plus the R&B standard “Merry Christmas Baby”, but they each have his fingerprints all over them. No, this is not Bring Crosby or even Nat King Cole, it’s all classic Kem. He’s included his brand of soul into what has become background music during your shopping trips to solidify its place on your iPod on those trips to the mall.

Kem has set out to inject the true meaning of Christmas into this season; the album opens with “Glorify the King”, undoubtedly to remind listeners for the reason to this happiest of seasons. The song sets the stage for the album’s tenor, as you’re never far recognizing the birth of Jesus Christ or acknowledging “a kind of love that never ends” as he sings on “What Christmas Means,” a song that seeks to define the true nature behind your child’s favorite day. The subtlety in his phrasing, wrapped in his silky vocals and slick lyricism removes any pretense of preachiness and allows you to get into the message.

A track that will undoubtedly score among Kem fans and a casual listener is “Be Mine for Christmas”, a duet with the dynamic Ledisi, a playful ditty that brings the “quiet storm” to the twelve days of Christmas. However, “A Christmas Song for You” is far and away the strongest cut here; its melody and tone are reminiscent of Lionel Ritchie’s heyday and speaks to an emotional place many of us reach during the holiday season. Love is the order of the day from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day and this ode to the love of a lifetime is on par with his most popular tracks and should become a staple for years to come.

Christmas comes early in 2012; Kem has packaged a suite to carry us through the end of the year and find a place in the conversation of soulful Christmases, along with Donny Hathaway, The Temptations, Luther Vandross, The Whispers and Nat King Cole. Thank you Kem for reminding us what Christmas really means and extending that message for over 40 minutes, in hopes that we’re able to spread the sentiment for 365 days.
