Some celebrities try too hard, which ultimately lands them on this list–the worst red carpet looks ever! Perhaps they’ve got a new stylist who is all about thinking outside of the box and opts for the shock value instead of common style sense. Whatever their story is, they’ve usually skipped the rack of perfectly awesome classic red carpet gowns and decided to choose something featuring feathers, bows and an arrangement of bedazzled flowers.

Here’s to those misguided moments of celebrity style!

Rihanna Sues Topshop Over ‘Unauthorized’ T-shirts

Even though there were talks of a Rihanna X Topshop fashion collaboration, apparently things have gone sour over this one tee-shirt (pictured above)!

A source from the singer’s camp says that her management has asked the fashion store on several occasions to stop selling her image. ”They buy the pictures from a photographer, but they do not pay the artist licensing fees. Unfortunately, UK law does not protect the artist,” the source told the New York Post .

A Topshop source says, “This issue is related to a T-shirt provided to Topshop by a third-party supplier. We are aware it is the subject of litigation and it would therefore be inappropriate to comment.”

You would think that the retailer would just slide RiRi a few million, right? Legal documents have been filed for an undisclosed amount against Topshop.

Zoe Saldana choose a ‘fresh off the runway’ look from Rodarte’s Fall 2013 Collection for her Los Angeles red carpet appearance for ”Star Trek Into Darkness”. Her champagne ruffled gown has many 1920′s elements–that thanks to “The Great Gatsby” are the hottest trend right now.

I am so not in love with this dress, even though it flows perfectly against Zoe’s slender frame. But as always she’s gets an A+ for her makeup and accessories effort. She topped her look off with a bright red pout, oh-so-chic side-swept hair, and a tangerine and cocoa brown sandal. I think if this gown were in black I would have loved it–or not!

Back in December, I totally fell in love with this exotic python print dress from Gucci’s Spring 2013 collection when Kerry Washington wore it. The tank dress fell softly along her curves during her red carpet premiere for Los Angeles Confidential’s 10th anniversary party.

So here we are months later and “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deeley is spotting wearing the same leggy dress. I’m thinking, not so much but my girl crush for Kerry may be clouding my judgement. Both ladies did very minimum styling (which I am grateful for), but I am swooning over Kerry’s Gucci hit ankle strap sandals. Cat opted for a extremely basic boring black pump.

But per usual, I want to know what you’re thinking.

Rihanna‘s second collection for UK top streetwear brand River Island is set to drop on May 25th. River Island just released this way-too-cute video (watch it above), that takes fans behind-the-scenes with RiRi and her lead designer Adam Selman, as they put the final bells and whistles on her sophomore try as a designer.

Most critics were left underwhelmed with her first collection but it was a young generation of hip consumers that made it a sold out collection. This go around is an overload of typical Rihanna-wear–slinky spaghetti strap dresses, printed jumpsuits, army jackets, and her signature midriff tops.

Although Rihanna insisted that this collection is made for every woman, there’s no signs of a plus collection from the megastar. #SHRUGS.

Not that I didn’t hate that floral get-up Kimmy Kakes sported, but wow VOGUE!

In VOGUE’s Best-Dressed gallery, Kim Kardashian was cropped out of her red carpet photo with her baby daddy Kanye West, who actually made their prestigious list.

They were both dressed in Givenchy (as most that attended the gala) and walked hand-in-hand throughout the red carpet. While Kanye opted for a sleek black suit that landed him on every style site’s best-dressed list, Kim and her curtain inspired tight fitting floral print dress were left with nothing but funny Instagram memes and hilariously rude fashion critiques.

While we don’t approve of her latest fashion choices, the designer behind this look, Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, defended the look to WWD, saying, “I think she looked amazing.”

Well, as the saying goes… you like it I love it?!
