Music legends and fans are mourning the loss of Soul Train host and creator Don Cornelius. The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin released the following statement:

“It’s just so sad, stunning and downright shocking and a huge and momentous loss to the African-American community and the world at large. Don Cornelius single handedly brought about a melding and unity of brother and sisterhood among young adults worldwide and globally with the unforgettable creation of Soul Train.”

Last night was thee cutest episode of “The Family Hustle” probably all season! We learned that the family has been keeping secrets from Papa Tip, when his 10 year old daughter, Deyjah, reveals that she has a boyfriend! (Can we pause for a second. Deyjah is 10, with a man? What am I doing wrong? Ha!)

T.I immediately jumps into over-protective Daddy mode and explains to Deyjah that boys these days only want her “sugar” and once her “sugar” is gone, well it’s just gone! Such a cute analogy! Since the government has taken all of T.I’s guns away (lol), all he can really do is teach Deyjah about the birds and the bees although at 10 years old, I really don’t think she understands.

“They’re going to tell you you’re pretty, they’re going to tell you you’re smart, and they’re only telling you that to get your suga” he tells her. HOW CUTE!?

T.I then decides that it’s time to talk to his sons about how to treat the ladies. When he asks the boys how do they think ladies are supposed to be treated, Major responds with “Bad and Sneaky”! LOL!
King woo’ed all ladies everywhere when he responded with “you treat her with respect”! I think I’m in love with King!

One last time, let’s ask Major how do you treat a lady. He responded this time with, “Good?” and then “Hands?” and one more time “No, with a mouth!”

Looks like Major’s been peeping in on mommy and daddy’s alone time. LOL

Nothing brings family together like a new baby .Rumor has it that Beyonce’s parents Tina and Mathew Knowles were spotted with flowers and pink balloons tied with silver and black ribbons at the hospital over the weekend.

Beyonce and her father who were on the outs for almost a year due to the child he had out of wedlock and money related issues, had an emotional reconciliation in the delivery room before Blue Ivy entered the world.

According to sources Beyonce did not want her father there when she gave birth. but Jay convinced her to invite her father to the hospital and she did. Mathew came into the delivery room while Bey was in labor and she broke down in tears and cried openly. It was the first time she’d laid eyes on her father in almost a year. It was so emotional that even Jay got a little teary-eyed!

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith may or not be getting a divorce, but the sell of their house in Hawaii and his recent solo appearance add to speculation about a troubled marriage. But should it?

Will’s trip to Vegas was to promote his forthcoming film Men In Black III at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. Maybe Jada wasn’t with him because it was a business trip. Take a look at Will wowing the audience in the photos below.

The house they sold is located on Kauai was on a seven acre estate, was 2,200 square feet, had three bedroom, three-baths, a swimming pool and a hot tub. The property sold for $20 million, and they were able to profit $6.5 million, which is impressive in this economy. Erykah Badu announced her dates for her 2010 North American tour, Out My Mind, Just In Time. The tour will make stops at a mix of amphitheaters and concert halls throughout North America this spring, beginning on May 22 at Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, MD and wrapping up on June 24 at The Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas, NV.

Opening acts, that will vary in city, include: N.E.R.D., Bilal, Janelle Monae, and drummer Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson from The Roots.

In addition to this tour, Badu has joined the lineups for this summer’s Lollapalooza festival and will reunite with the revamped Lilith Fair tour. She will also be featured as a special guest at Maxwell’s upcoming concerts in Atlanta and New York City.
