September has been a great month, not just because it’s my birthday month! This month has been filled with new music from some of my favorite artists! Artists releasing long awaited new music such as, Jahiem, Raheem DeVaughn, John Legend, Tamar Braxton & more…all of which you can hear anytime of the day or night right here on 1059 KISS!!

Here’s one more artist to add to that list! Last week, Detroit’s own K’jon recently made a major announcement regarding his highly anticipated new CD. Here’s what he had to say:

From K’jon’s Facebook page…

Okay everyone! I got some good news and some bad news. So let’s get to the good news! The good news is that the new CD, “Without A Woman”, scheduled to be released this month, just became a double CD. The 1st CD is still called, “Without A Woman” and the 2nd CD will be simply entitled, “MAN”. “MAN” is also the unofficial “street” single for the 2nd CD. That single will be released in 2 weeks…, the video to premiere shortly thereafter.

“Without A Woman”, like many of my sophisticated ladies out there who mix it up and stay up on the latest styles and fashions, is a combination of current and traditional R&B. It sensuously caters to woman with taste and class. “MAN” on the other hand, is a vintage collection of original R&B songs with a heavy dose of the signature “Motown” sound, which in my opinion is a lot like our mature gentlemen, who like myself, don’t want a whole lot of changes. We like our favorite drink, sports team, food, music and our type of woman. Like vintage R&B, there’s no guessing around…, we keep it right there. I’ve been wanting to drop a double disc for several years…, and now that I’m back calling the shots, I have the oppurtunity. So my friends, I hope you are excited because I truly am!!! – Ocean Man
