So again, R. Kelly has been popped by Uncle Sam. Apparently, Kells “forgot” to pay his taxes for 2011 also, bringing another $1.3 million to his already compiling tax debt, bringing his grand total to $6,227,767.82!
R. Kelly owes the IRS $6,227,767.82 stemming from unpaid back taxes from 2005 – 2011.
His rep claims that R. Kelly is taking this very seriously and he stated:
He takes this very seriously and is already communicating with the IRS about the payment process to quickly resolve the issue.”
So, our question is — How in the world can you forget to pay your taxes for that long? SMH.
