Tony Dungy is known for being one of the best NFL coaches in modern day football, but he is an even a better humanitarian. This weekend Dungy will be back in his home state of Michigan doing what he does best, giving back to people who need it most.
Dungy will be the guest speaker for The Tougaloo College Alumni Association, Detroit Chapter, this upcoming Saturday, April 14 at 6:30 PM ET. The event is being held in the Ambassador Ballroom at the Detroit Marriot in the Renaissance Center.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts head coach, and current in-studio analyst for NBC Sunday Night football, will be hosting “An Evening with Tony Dungy.” The charity event will benefit metropolitan Detroit students currently enrolled and entering Tougaloo College.
The theme for this year’s event is “Mentoring Detroit’s Youth Today.”
“It’s about the journey–mine and yours–and the lives we can touch, the legacy we can leave, and the world we can change for the better.”
