Southeast Michigan employers are holding an engineering and IT career fair, Saturday, in Dearborn with 1,400 open positions.
G-TECH Services Inc. reports that with the resurgence of the manufacturing sector, the demand for talented engineering and IT professionals is quickly growing.
Senior Vice President of G-TECH Services, Claudette Cunitz says “As workload increases, they are now in need of more talented professionals than they can find.”
The career fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday March 31 at the Dearborn Inn, 20301 Oakwood Boulevard.
G-TECH Services says they have 1,400 contract or direct hire positions to fill for automotive designers, IT professionals and engineers in all disciplines. Employers will be looking for a wide range of qualified, talented individuals including manufacturing and powertrain engineers, CAE engineers, cost analysts, computer programmers and project managers.
Candidates should bring one copy of their resume and be prepared for on-site interviews.
