Bobby Brown was scheduled to perform with New Edition just hours before the untimely death of Whitney Houston. Surprisingly he took the stage and described how hard it was to do and said, “I LOVE YOU WHITNEY” after blowing a kiss up to the sky. He also released an official statement.
“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston. At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.”-Bobby Brown
