Tayshaun Prince will remain in the fold for the Detroit Pistons for years to come. The 31-year-old Prince, an unrestricted free agent going into the lockout delayed 2012-13 NBA season, reportedly agreed to a four year, $27 million dollar deal to continue to reside in Motown. The former 2002 first round pick out of Kentucky has played his entire NBA career in Detroit. Prince born and raised in Compton, California drew interest form the Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs and the Chicago Bulls opted to remain in the D where he has put down stakes and can continue to being a starter in the NBA. He averaged 14.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game last year during trying time for the Pistons.
Another one of Detroit’s free agents is Hotlanta bound. ESPN is reporting that Tracy McGrady has agreed to a one year deal, at the veteran-minimum with the Atlanta Hawks. McGrady played in 72 games with the Pistons last year averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest.
