Actress Robin Givens to Launch ‘The Art of Acting for Life’ Workshops in Detroit

Actress Robin Givens launches her national project in Detroit, MI called The Art of Acting…for Life‟ – Children and Adult Workshops.
Givens returns during the weeks of July 11 – 15, 2011 and July 18 – 23, 2011 to inspire and impact children and adults in a series of acting workshops. The workshops are held at The Arts League of Michigan at The Virgil H. Carr Cultural Art Center, 311 E. Grand River, 48226 in Paradise Valley – Detroit, MI.
The Children Workshops are conducted from 1:00pm – 5:30pm for children ages 9 – 13. The children workshops are offered for both weeks with only 30 participants per week. The Adult Workshops are conducted from 6:30p – 9:30p for teens 14 – adults. The adult workshops are offered for the week of July 18, 2011, only and will also be limited to 30 participants. However, the first 10-12 people who register for either workshop will receive a free private lesson from Robin Givens.

While Robin Givens is in Detroit for two weeks, Universal Xperience will host Robin as she visits area schools and youth serving organizations to meet and speak with children and their families from 8:30am – 12:00 (noon).
