Red Bull Air Race World Championship
Noon June 5-6
The Red Bull Air Race World Championship pilots will race along the Detroit River. Red Bull Air Races also are hosting an airplane art project with 20 Metro Detroit schools; the finished planes will be displayed on the RiverWalk for people to vote on throughout May.

Detroit River Days

Spans the RiverWalk from the Renaissance Center to the newly opened section of the William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor, Michigan’s first urban state park. The four-day festival includes live concerts, food, and events like Pooch-a-Palooza, Carnival and Parade of Lights and culminates with the Target Fireworks.
