DETROIT (WXYZ) – A child is in the hospital in critical condition after she was hit by a bus on Detroit’s West Side.
The accident happened around 6:00 a.m. inside a bus depot near Rosa Parks Boulevard and Warren Avenue. The depot houses many of Detroit’s school buses.
Sources tell Action News a bus driver had just filled up the gas tank, pulled out quickly, and hit the little girl and her mother. Police said the girl suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital. Her mother was not hurt.
