On Thursday, Feb. 17, people having trouble paying their DTE utility bills can get help. The Department of Human Services is partnering with the groups THAW, WARM and Community Energy Solutions at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Zio Church in Detroit.
They’ll help people with shutoffs, payment plan options, budgeting, bill payment assistance and much more. The event is open to the public.
Two sessions will be held: from 10 a.m. – 1p.m. and 3 – 6 p.m.
