Forums are planned to show Detroit residents how to lower their utility bills.
City Councilman Ken Cockrel Jr. will co-host a session Tuesday at United Auto Workers union Local 7 on East Conner, and Wednesday’s version at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church on West Grand Boulevard.
Both sessions begin at 6 p.m.
Employees from various city departments will discuss cost-saving techniques and energy efficiency.
DTE Energy representatives will attend to discuss payment assistance with utility customers having trouble with current bills.
