If you want to be on American Idol, you no longer have to go stand in line and wait for hours at some random audition site. You can do your performance
right at home, and put it up on Myspace. The contest will last until October 6.
The entries must be no longer than forty seconds, and a list of songs that can be used has been posted on the site. A select number will move on to Los Angeles for a more traditional tryout.
Both AI & Myspace are owned by News Corp, and this is being used as a way to drum up business for the struggling social-networking website.
